I was born near Oakland, CA and grew up in Vacaville, CA. After earning my Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from California State University Sacramento (is this where I say Go Hornets!-Na, they were terrible), I moved to the Tri-Cities the summer of 1997. In the spring of 2001 I graduated from Washington State University (sorry, not a Coug fan either) with my Masters in Teaching and K-8 teaching certificate. I've been teaching in the Richland School District since the fall of 2001 (first at Hanford Middle School and now at Enterprise Middle School). During my time in Richland, I have had the opportunity to teach 6th-8th grade alternative education, science, health, social studies, and ELA. Along the way, I've also been in charge of leadership/ASB for several years. In 2006, I obtained my professional certification from Heritage University.
